MainTor Porta is an office tower within the MainTor building complex on Weißfrauenstrasse. The 70 meter high office building designed by KSP Engel & Zimmermann (today KSP ENGEL) was completed at the end of 2014.
In 2012 and 2013, the investment company Union Investment leased the 22,500 square meters of office space in two stages. The company is headquartered in the MainTor Porta high-rise.
The MainTor building complex was completed by 2020 on the approximately 21,000 square meter former headquarters of Degussa AG. In addition to MainTor Porta, the office towers MainTor Panorama (2016), MainTor Primus (2014) and WinX Tower (2020) as well as other properties with a mix of office, residential, gastronomy and commercial uses also belong to the overall project. The building complex received the MIPIM award in the “Best German Project” category on February 8, 2012 in Cannes. The slogan for the MainTor project is “The Riverside Financial District”.
