Dubai Frame
The Dubai Frame is one of the city’s most distinctive architectural landmarks, located in Zabeel Park between old and new Dubai. Officially opened in January 2018, it was created to represent the connection between the city’s historic heritage and its modern skyline.
Standing at 150 meters tall and 93 meters wide, the Dubai Frame consists of two vertical towers connected by a spectacular sky bridge. The structure is designed to resemble a giant picture frame: from one side, visitors see the older districts of Deira, Bur Dubai, and the Dubai Creek from the other side, they view the contemporary skyline featuring Downtown Dubai and the towering Burj Khalifa. The concept symbolizes Dubai’s transformation from a trading port to a global metropolis.
Inside, the experience begins with an exhibition that showcases Dubai’s past through multimedia displays, historic images, and cultural storytelling. High-speed elevators take visitors to the top, where the Sky Deck offers panoramic views across the entire city. One of the highlights is the transparent glass floor in the center of the bridge, giving visitors a thrilling view straight down to the ground below.
After enjoying the views, guests move to the Dubai Future Gallery, which uses immersive projections to illustrate the city’s vision for future development and innovation.
Surrounded by the greenery of Zabeel Park and positioned at a central point between old and new Dubai, the Dubai Frame offers both a striking architectural spectacle and a meaningful narrative about the city’s journey. It has quickly become one of Dubai’s most visited attractions, appealing to travelers, families, and photography enthusiasts alike.
