The Dubai Metro Blue Line is a major expansion of the city’s public transport network that officially began construction in June 2025. Stretching 30 kilometers with 14 strategically located stations, the line aims to enhance connectivity across key residential, commercial, and educational districts. Notably, the line will include the world’s tallest metro station at Dubai Creek Harbour, rising 74 meters high.

This new line is a vital part of Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan and supports the city’s vision for sustainable mobility. The Blue Line is expected to serve around 200,000 passengers daily by 2030, with projections rising to 320,000 by 2040.
