Sheikh Zayed Road
Sheikh Zayed Road is the main highway that runs through Dubai. It forms part of the E11, the longest road in the United Arab Emirates. The section known as Sheikh Zayed Road extends for about 55 kilometers within Dubai, connecting the city from the Trade Centre roundabout near Dubai Creek all the way to the border with Abu Dhabi.
The road is known for its wide lanes and the modern skyline that lines both sides. Many of Dubai’s most famous landmarks stand along Sheikh Zayed Road, including the Burj Khalifa, Emirates Towers, and the Museum of the Future. The highway connects important districts such as Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, and Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
Sheikh Zayed Road runs parallel to the Dubai Metro Red Line, making many of these areas easy to reach by public transport. The highway is one of the busiest in the city, used daily by thousands of vehicles, and is a key link between Dubai and other emirates like Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
