Dubai Marina

Dubai Marina is a large-scale waterfront community located just off Sheikh Zayed Road, about 20 kilometers southwest of Downtown Dubai. It is developed around a man-made canal stretching more than three kilometers along the Arabian Gulf. Construction began in the early 2000s and continues today, with new towers and mixed-use projects still being added.

When fully developed, Dubai Marina is expected to be home to over 120,000 residents across more than 200 high-rise buildings, including some of the tallest residential towers in the world. The area offers a mix of upscale apartments, luxury hotels, restaurants, retail outlets, and leisure attractions. The marina promenade, public beach, and Dubai Marina Mall have made it one of the city’s most sought-after residential and tourist destinations.

Covering more than 50 million square feet, the community is generally divided into two main areas: the Marina Walk side and the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) side, separated by the waterway and connected by pedestrian bridges. The project was primarily led by Emaar Properties, one of the UAE’s most prominent developers, with contributions from various sub-developers and international investors over the years.

Dubai Marina is well served by public transportation, including two metro stations and a tram line that loops around the community, providing easy access to key points. Over the past two decades, it has become a symbol of modern urban living in the UAE, combining high-density development with a vibrant waterfront lifestyle and striking contemporary architecture.
